The Khatri community in Kutch specialises in this 23 step printing process that’s called ‘Ajrakh’ . Dhamadka is one such place where it all began and after the disastrous earthquake of 2001, the artisans moved to Ajrakhpur for better prospects.

This beautiful Ajrakh Print in Indigo ,on soft cotton has an extremely soft hand feel and  the fall of the saree is awesome, the zari has caught on the tint of indigo which give it an exotic look. The indigo used here is German and rest of the colors are of natural dyes!
